Great game. 105% accuracy for me!

I think I might remember you talking about making this in the forum.

The "team" could have helped out a little more, but overall, it was fun.

GrimStudios responds:

yes. I fixed the problem with the bullets I was talking about. ;D

Much better now that it has music!!!

It's like playing a whole different game. Graphic could use an overhaul, but it's tolerable. Fun.

A good game that makes a name for itself.

The best part about this game to me was the fact that the only star wars based part of the game was the lightsaber. I think that it was a good move on your part to create your own characters and establish your game apart from the star wars universe. I only have a few gripes. First, the character could look a little more polished (maybe release a special edition), second, I noticed little change in the difficulty settings (or maybe I'm just that good, jk), and third, the opponents patterns were extremely recognizable (reminded me of old nintendo bosses). Overall, this was a good game, and could become a great SERIES of games (hint, hint) if you want it to be. Congratulations on being on the front page.

I don't get it...

Pros: -Actionscripting works
-Graphics are tolerable
-Catchy title

Cons: -undeterminable collision detection areas
-no motivation for playing
-just not fun

Bottom line: An ok effort, but needs a lot of work to succeed.

My eyes burn!

I always try to give helpful reviews, so here I go. Please, for the love of all that is holy, do not ever use the gradient tool that much ever again. Gradients can be a good thing, but that just was hard to look at. On a positive note, your menu-like selection thing worked well.

Actionscripting

Cheers: I'll give you credit for the actionscripting in this game. I understand how difficult it can be to make it work. Your actionscripting was almost flawless. I also like the music change between boy and girl.

Jeers: I would've like to have seen something other than stick figures. Also, it would have been nice to have had the option to move clothing in front of or behind other clothing.

Overall: Good for what it is.

faye-smith responds:

thanks, i would have done that but I don't know much actionscript because i'm quite new at this

Excellent Customization!!!

My only gripe is that you can change the color of the accesories like the demon wing and angel wing.

Don't pay any attention to my flashes. My graphic design work is far better. Unfortunately, it's not online anywhere...sigh.
